Man that Ranger Raptor just looks so right to my eye, it was therefore very upsetting to learn that it might only be marketed outside of the states. Well if you go to Ford Australias website there is a video of a left hand drive truck romping in the desert of California...hmmm. Why even go through the trouble of making a LHD version of a truck that wont be sold here...I think it is just a matter of time until we hear that particular news.

Ye’, why even make a LHD version if it’s not going to the U.S.. I mean it’s not like those people in the 120+ other LHD countries that aren’t North America want it or get it.

I thought you were doing the funny.
We’ve had that Ranger in the rest of the world since 2011 and when it got it’s face-lift in 2015.
The Raptor version of the Ranger will primarily be aimed at the U.S.
We get dressed up ones such as the M-Sport Ranger and there are many that work on them.

sorry, maybe unintentially funny? my wife just had a baby so my brain is not firing on all cylinders.
I know the rest of the world has been lucky enough to have the new ranger for a while, dont know what took them so long!
I do think the raptor will do well in Aus and NZ, I do not know the other markets in Asia well enough to know if it will do well there.
all we can do is wait and see...

The Aussies and Kiwis have been nodding them for a while. There is a different M-Sport in Oz that specialises in Ford Rangers.
If you’ve a few moments to kill, or rather after having a baby, manage to find a few moments to YouTube M-Sport Ford Ranger Australia Promo.
It doesn’t leave a lot of room for Ford in America to do much with it that hasn’t been done other than to cash in on the Raptor name from the F150.
Congrats on the new baby by the way.
I trust s/he is healthy and sleeps well through the nights.
